Who are we?

We are a group of politically aware women sponsoring candidate forums and high profile speakers. We are active in our community supporting local students, local animal shelters, local women’s health related organizations and so much more. We are your neighbor, your sister, your friend. We are YOU! And we’d like to invite you to join us for lunch on the third Tuesday of each month at The Helm Club in The Landings on McGregor Boulevard in Fort Myers.

Karna Small Bodman, author of five published political thrillers, will be the featured speaker at the Tuesday, April 16, luncheon. Bodman, who has won several international awards, will discuss her newest novel, Trust but Verify.

Bodman’s books were inspired by her six years serving on President Ronald Reagan’s White House staff, first as Deputy Press Secretary, later as Senior Director and Spokesman for the National Security Council where she was the highest-ranking woman on The White House staff.

Trust by Verify features a member of The White House staff and an FBI Special Agent who race to unravel an explosive plot that threatens the lives of international financial leaders and would sink Stock Markets worldwide.
